Meet the Class of 2016: Matt Doyle, Carly Lederer, Jennifer Tyler, & Barbara Wagner

The Leadership Frederick County Class of 2016 is one of the largest and most diverse classes in LFC history. Participants represent a wide range of professions, backgrounds, talents, and interests.

Matt Doyle

Plamondon Hospitality Partners
Matt Doyle is an Area Sales Manager for Plamondon Hospitality Partners. He shares the range of PHP products and services, including six hotels in Frederick and Hagerstown, with local and national companies, government agencies, and nonprofits. Matt works closely with the rest of the sales team and has more than 12 years of sales experience.

Matt is also involved with Habitat for Humanity, where he serves as the Vice President of the Board of Directors. He was also part of the original steering committee for Generation Connect at the Frederick County Chamber, and is a Chamber Ambassador. Matt has also participated in the Deep Creek Dunk benefiting Special Olympics Maryland and has personally raised more than $12,000 for the cause.

Carly Lederer

SoldierFit
Carly began going to SoldierFit three years ago as a member and knew the day she signed up that she had to become a bigger part of the organization. She went from a member, to an apprentice, and finally to a trainer - all in the first year. She was promoted to "Top" manager of the Frederick location, and in January of 2014, was offered a position as a Senior Trainer. She now oversees all trainers at all locations, and travels between them to mentor, manage, and train.

Carly has been active in Frederick Memorial Hospital's Perinatal Loss Garden project, 22 Needs a Face, and has been a speaker at many local schools, Girl Scout events, and community outreach events.

Jennifer Tyler

Woodsboro Bank

Jennifer is a Loan Operations Manager at Woodsboro Bank. She is responsible for the management of the department and for resolving operational problems. She performs post-closing reviews of commercial loans, and is responsible for preparing commercial loan documents. Jennifer has been in banking her entire career and began as a teller during her senior year in high school.

She has helped plan the bank's yearly community event at Mount St. Mary's College, which helps people learn how to save money and achieve their financial goals. She is also involved with Pa$$port to Wealth, and has presented the "Basics of Banking" to adults and teens.

Barbara Wagner

Frederick County Chamber of Commerce

Barbara is a part-time administrative assistant for the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce. She assists the LFC Executive Director with program coordination and logistics including scheduling speakers, booking caterers, and helping the class. When she's at the office, Barbara is also a front desk receptionist, assisting and taking care of the needs of the Chamber's members and staff.

Barbara sits on the Board of Directors for Frederick County Mediation Center (formerly known as CALM), participates in the CAA's Food Bank Program, served 2 years on the Canal Run HOA, and has sponsored and participated in many community events including "Be a Santa to a Senior," which supports the elderly at Christmas.
