Celebrating Five Years of Generation Connect

YPBlog

Five years, one mission

Generation Connect was created to help young professionals find success in their career, provide educational and social opportunities, and to give back to the community. What started as an idea has become one of the most success programs for young professionals in Frederick County. On November 18, 2015 we celebrated our five year anniversary by living our mission.

Giving Back

Each year, Generation Connect donates all proceeds from events to a local nonprofit and this year we supported the Frederick Police Activities League. Frederick PAL is an organization that provides after school activities and homework help to the youth of Lucas Village. Local law enforcement officers and community leaders organize homework club, a computer lab, weight lifting, open gym, and special programs like field trips and guest speakers.

We proudly presented the $1,105 donation to representatives of PAL at the event.
