About the Award

The annual Young Professional of the Year Award recognizes a young professional in Frederick County who demonstrates professionalism, community service, and a commitment to building their careers and industry. The process is competitive. Each YP is nominated by his or her supervisor, completes an initial screening application, and if selected to be one of the Top Five, interviews with the Generation Connect Steering Committee.

About the Top Five

The Top Five were extremely well qualified and deserving of the award. With such impressive resumes, community service, and generous spirits it was a difficult decision for the steering committee to make. Watch our "About the Top 5" video for a peek at the lives of our finalists.
