Our recent membership satisfaction survey yielded some really interesting information. Thanks to many of you, we now know that there’s a wide disparity of opinion about the term “networking.” Most new members cite that as a reason they first joined the Chamber, but each individual has a different understanding of what that might be.
Most of our outreach programs and card exchanges were created specifically to address the need for networking, but some of you have told us you’re looking for more. Our focus here is to help you reach that expectation. What would it take for you to feel that your investment in the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce was a good decision? Can you describe what your membership expectation really is? How specifically can you define it?
Assuming you know what it would take to have a really good membership year, the next step is to share it with the Chamber staff. We want to know what you really want from your membership. I can’t guarantee that we’ll be able to give you exactly what you want, but I can guarantee that we never will if we don’t know. By sharing your success expectations, we can craft a plan to get you in front of the customers you think will benefit from your services or products.
