For those of us who live in Frederick, we already know it’s a great place to live and to work, but now it’s official! Frederick was named one of 12 “Prettiest Painted Places” in the nation out of approximately 200 nominees!
The competition was conducted by the Paint Quality Institute and sponsored by USA Today, The New York Times, HGTV, and Smart Money. The Tourism Council of Frederick County and Downtown Frederick Partnership worked together to identify 21 stunning images that represented Downtown Frederick’s historic architecture combined with colorful paint, artwork, and murals.
